The terms, in full
The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.
Driving from Dubai Hills
Al Khail Road runs along the estate and reaches Downtown in about fifteen minutes without a single Salik gate on that stretch. Cutting across to Sheikh Zayed Road does cross Salik, billed at cost and capped at AED 7 a crossing. The mall and the schools sit inside the estate, which is exactly why the second-car bookings happen.
