Car Rental in Sharjah
Sharjah rents as a delivery market rather than a walk-in one: the car meets you at your address and is collected from it, with no counter to visit. Many bookings come from Sharjah residents who commute into Dubai and want a car on their own terms, and from visitors staying in the emirate.
Sharjah is the cultural capital of the UAE, known for Al Noor Mosque, Al Qasba and the Khalid Lagoon corniche, right next to Dubai. Hermas specialises in luxury car rental and delivers the whole fleet to Sharjah; delivery here is charged, unlike our free delivery inside Dubai. Book through the website and the rate you see is already the discounted one; the saving is set per car and shown on that car’s own page.
Delivery and collection
Delivery to Sharjah is charged, which is the one way it differs from our Dubai addresses. The usual figure is AED 250, and that covers the delivery and the collection together rather than each leg. The exact amount depends on where in the emirate you are, so send us the address and we will confirm it before you book. On longer rentals the charge is waived – tell us your dates and we will tell you where you stand.

The terms, in full
The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.
Driving in Sharjah
Sharjah has no road toll of its own; a Dubai Salik gate applies only when you cross into Dubai, and is billed to you at cost. Sharjah sits right beside Dubai, so the drive is around thirty to forty minutes depending on traffic, with no border formality of any kind between emirates.
