The terms, in full

The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.

Driving from JBR

JBR connects to Sheikh Zayed Road through the Marina and to the coast road going the other way. Beach parking around JBR is paid and enforced, and parking fees are the driver’s own. Fuel is returned at the level it was supplied, and Salik is billed at cost up to AED 7 a crossing.
