The terms, in full
The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.
Driving from Bur Dubai
The Creek crossings are the local geography: the Floating Bridge and Al Maktoum Bridge carry you over to Deira, and the tunnel at Al Shindagha runs toll-free. Salik applies on some crossings and along Sheikh Zayed Road, billed at cost and capped at AED 7 a crossing. Old-town parking is metered street parking, paid by the driver.
