The terms, in full

The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.

Driving from Deira

Deira sits on the far side of the creek, so most trips south cross either Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Garhoud Bridge or the Floating Bridge. Salik applies at Al Maktoum and Al Garhoud and is billed at cost, capped at AED 7 a crossing. For a long rental, delivery outside Dubai is free at 30 days or more.
