The terms, in full

The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.

Driving from the Palm

There is one road on and off the Palm, which makes timing rather than routing the thing to plan around. Once off the island, Sheikh Zayed Road runs in both directions. Hotel valet and residence parking on the Palm are charged by the property, not by us.
