Car Rental on Saadiyat Island
Saadiyat bookings come from the resorts – a stay at one of the beach hotels, a morning at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, dinner on the main island in the evening. What suits that is not a track car; it is something comfortable that looks right at a hotel entrance. The car is delivered to the resort and collected from it when you leave.
Saadiyat Island is Abu Dhabi’s cultural island, home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi and a stretch of natural beaches and luxury resorts, about 90 minutes from Dubai on the E11. Hermas delivers the whole fleet to Saadiyat; delivery to Abu Dhabi is charged, unlike our free delivery inside Dubai. Delivery and collection
Delivery to Abu Dhabi is charged, which is the one way it differs from our Dubai addresses. The usual figure is AED 250, and that covers the delivery and the collection together rather than each leg. The exact amount depends on where in the emirate you are, so send us the address and we will confirm it before you book. On longer rentals the charge is waived – tell us your dates and we will tell you where you stand.

The terms, in full
The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car, for any duration. A document is signed at handover instead. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.
Driving from Saadiyat
Saadiyat connects to the main island and to Yas by highway bridges, so the Louvre, the Corniche and the Yas attractions are all short drives. Abu Dhabi’s Darb toll applies on the bridges onto the main island and is billed to you at cost. Dubai is around ninety minutes away on the E11.
