The terms, in full
The minimum rental is 24 hours. Drivers must be 21 or over with a licence valid for at least six more months. Rates include VAT and an average allowance of 250 km per day across the rental period. Comprehensive insurance is provided in line with UAE law, with the excess set by the insurance contract. You can rent against a refundable deposit, which stands in place of separate insurance, or with no deposit at all against a document signed at handover. Cancellation is free, with no deadline.
Driving from Karama
Karama sits in central Dubai between Bur Dubai and Za’abeel, minutes from Sheikh Zayed Road in one direction and the creek in the other. Street parking follows RTA paid-parking zones, so many residents prefer the car delivered to their building. Salik is billed at cost, capped at AED 7 a crossing, and for long rentals delivery outside Dubai is free at 30 days or more.
