G63 vs Brabus G63: Which Should You Rent in Dubai?

From car reviews and industry updates to maintenance advice, driving tips and buying recommendations, our blog brings together everything you need to stay connected to the world of cars.

G63 vs Brabus G63: Which Should You Rent in Dubai?

Short answer: the standard Mercedes G63 costs AED 1,429 a day and does everything most people want a G-Wagon to do. The Brabus G63 costs AED 2,689 – the extra AED 1,260 a day buys the widebody kit, the exhaust and the interior, not extra usability. Neither requires a deposit.

This is the most common question we get on WhatsApp, so here is the honest comparison rather than the sales version.

What is actually different

A Brabus G63 starts life as a G63. What Brabus changes is the bodywork – wider arches, carbon detailing, different wheels – the exhaust note, and usually the interior trim and stitching. The result is a car that looks and sounds considerably more dramatic while occupying the same footprint on the road and offering the same practical space.

What does not change: seats, boot, ride height, and how it behaves in Dubai traffic. If your plan is school runs, business meetings and a desert day, the standard car does all of it identically.

When the Brabus is worth it

  • Content and photography. The widebody reads instantly on camera; the standard car does not.
  • Events where arrival matters. Weddings, launches, birthdays – the Brabus is the version people remember.
  • You have already driven a G63. If the standard car is familiar, the Brabus is the next step rather than a repeat.

When the standard G63 is the smarter booking

  • Longer rentals. Over a week, the AED 1,260 daily gap becomes AED 8,820 – real money that buys several more days.
  • Daily use. Parking a widebody in older Dubai car parks is a skill; the standard car is easier everywhere.
  • First G-Wagon. The icon is the shape itself, and the standard G63 already has it.

The colours we keep

Beyond the standard car we run the G63 Black Matte, the G63 2025 Double Black Edition, the Brabus in white and a Brabus in Tiffany. Colour changes the character more than most people expect – white photographs bright and clean, matte black reads serious, Tiffany is unmistakable.

What both include

Comprehensive insurance, VAT, free delivery anywhere in Dubai including DXB, 250 km a day on average, and no security deposit – unusual for a G63 in this market, where AED 5,000 to AED 10,000 held on a card is normal. Staying longer? Check the weekly and monthly rates before booking day by day.

Frequently asked questions

Is a Brabus faster than a G63?

Brabus builds do modify performance, but in Dubai’s 80-120 km/h limits you will notice the exhaust and the presence far more than any difference in pace.

How much more is a Brabus G63 to rent in Dubai?

AED 2,689 a day against AED 1,429 for the standard G63 – a difference of AED 1,260 a day at Hermas.

Do I pay a deposit for a G63 or Brabus rental?

No. Hermas takes no security deposit on any car. Salik and fines are billed to your payment method after the rental instead.
