Nissan Patrol Rental in Dubai: Which Version Should You Book?
From car reviews and industry updates to maintenance advice, driving tips and buying recommendations, our blog brings together everything you need to stay connected to the world of cars.

Short answer: the Patrol Platinum 2025 (AED 799 a day) is the version most families book, the Patrol Safari (AED 619) is the one for desert weekends, and the range starts at AED 349 a day. Every Patrol rents with no security deposit, insurance and VAT included.
The Patrol is the default full-size SUV of the Gulf, and there is a reason it fills our booking sheet: it seats seven properly, it handles sand without preparation, and it costs a fraction of what an equivalent European SUV rents for.
The versions we keep
- Nissan Patrol – from AED 349 a day. The entry point to the range.
- Patrol Black 2025 – AED 439 a day. Full-size presence at the friendliest rate in the fleet.
- Patrol Safari – AED 619 a day. The version guests ask for by name for dune trips.
- Patrol Platinum 2025 – AED 799 a day. Top trim, newest cabin.
- Patrol 2024 – AED 799 a day.
- Patrol Grey 2025 – AED 979 a day. The newest specification, in the colour that hides desert dust.
Which one for which trip
Family visiting Dubai: the Platinum 2025. Seven seats, a cabin new enough that nobody complains on a long day, and enough boot space for airport luggage. Desert weekend: the Safari – it is the trim built for it. Budget-conscious but full-size: the Black 2025 at AED 439 gives you the same road presence for less. Long stay: any of them on a monthly rate, where the per-day cost drops furthest.
Patrol or the alternatives?
If you want seven seats, the honest comparison is against the GMC Yukon at AED 529 a day and the Cadillac Escalade at AED 799. The Yukon rides softer on tarmac; the Patrol is more capable when the tarmac ends. If the trip is mostly city and the group is small, a Defender at AED 799 does the same job with more style.
What every Patrol rental includes
Comprehensive insurance, VAT, free delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai including DXB airport, and an average of 250 km per day. No security deposit – nothing blocked on your card. Salik tolls and any fines are billed afterwards at cost. See the no-deposit policy, or browse the whole Nissan collection.
