How no-deposit rental works at Hermas
Most rental companies in Dubai block between AED 1,500 and AED 5,000 on your card and release it 15 to 30 days after the car comes back. We removed that step entirely. Instead, Salik tolls and any traffic fines during your rental are simply billed to your payment method after the rental ends – the same way a hotel settles a minibar. Nothing is frozen, and there is nothing to chase weeks later.

How much does a no-deposit rental cost?
The cheapest no-deposit rental in the fleet is AED 259 a day, and the same policy applies all the way up to a Rolls-Royce. Every rate already includes VAT, comprehensive insurance and delivery in Dubai, and the price per day falls as the rental gets longer. No deposit is added at any point, so the figure on the car page is the figure you pay.
Why do other companies ask for a deposit?
Because traffic fines in Dubai arrive late. A speed camera registers the car rather than the driver, and the fine can appear days or weeks after the rental has ended, so most companies hold a deposit until they are sure nothing is outstanding. We carry that risk ourselves and bill Salik and any fine at cost once it appears, with nothing held in the meantime.
