If you are four adults with full luggage, or a family with a pushchair and shopping bags, the Q7 is the better choice. It is a larger, three-row-capable SUV with a noticeably bigger boot than the compact three. It is also longer and wider, so it takes a little more care in tight car parks.

Is a compact SUV easier to park in Downtown and Dubai Marina?
Yes, a compact SUV is noticeably easier to park in Downtown Dubai and Dubai Marina. Most hotels, malls and residential towers there use underground car parks with tight ramps and narrow bays, and the Macan, RS Q3 and GLC 300 fit them without stress. Valet parking is common at hotels and restaurants, which takes care of the rest.
On Sheikh Zayed Road all three compacts are comfortable at highway speed and quiet enough for an easy conversation. Speed cameras are everywhere in Dubai, so the extra pace of the Macan and RS Q3 is something to enjoy when joining a road, not to use for long.
