Which McLaren to Rent in Dubai: 570S, 720S or 750S Spider

Rent the McLaren 570S if you want the easiest supercar to live with for a week, at AED 2,329 a day. Rent the 720S, at AED 3,139 a day, if you want the McLaren everyone pictures, with the upward-opening doors and all the theatre. Rent the 750S Spider, at AED 3,319 a day, if your evenings are for driving with the roof down. All three are two-seaters.

How much does it cost to rent a McLaren in Dubai?

Renting a McLaren in Dubai with Hermas costs from AED 2,329 a day for the 570S up to AED 3,319 a day for the 750S Spider. Every price includes VAT and comprehensive insurance, and there is no security deposit on any of the three.

  • McLaren 570S — AED 2,329 a day. The entry McLaren, and the easiest of the three to drive every day.
  • McLaren 720S — AED 3,139 a day. The McLaren most people have in mind, with the most theatre when the doors go up.
  • McLaren 750S Spider — AED 3,319 a day. A folding hard top turns it into an open car in seconds, made for Dubai’s evenings.

The step from the 570S to the 720S is AED 810 a day. The step from the 720S to the 750S Spider is only AED 180 a day, so if you are already choosing the 720S, the open roof costs little more. Longer rentals cost less per day, and we quote a monthly rate on request.

Which McLaren suits you: 570S, 720S or 750S Spider?

McLaren 570S: the everyday supercar

The 570S is the McLaren we suggest to first-time supercar renters. It has the mid-engine V8 and the low, wide shape of its bigger brothers, but it is the calmest of the three in traffic.

McLaren 720S: the one people mean

When someone tells us they want to rent a McLaren in Dubai, the car they have in mind is usually the 720S. Its doors swing up and forward and take a slice of the roof with them, which turns an arrival at a hotel entrance into an event.

Choose the 720S for photos, for a birthday, or for a weekend where the car is part of the plan.

McLaren 750S Spider: the roof-down McLaren

The 750S is the evolution of the 720S, and the Spider is its open version. Its folding hard top goes up or down at the press of a button. It keeps the upward-opening doors and adds the sound of the engine with nothing over your head.

Here is how the three compare at a glance.

What is a McLaren like to drive in Dubai every day?

Easier than most people expect. All three sit you low, but the dashboard is low too and the front pillars are slim, so the view forward is clear.

The ride is the second surprise. Dubai’s main roads are smooth, and none of the three feels harsh on them. The 720S and the 750S Spider absorb bumps a little better, while the 570S is firmer but never uncomfortable.

Speed bumps and steep mall car-park ramps are the real test: take them slowly and at an angle to protect the low nose.

Getting in and out takes a little practice. The doors open upward and the sill is wide, so sit down first and then swing your legs in. On the 720S the door takes part of the roof with it, which helps tall drivers, and on the Spider lowering the roof does the same job.

When can you drive the 750S Spider with the roof down in Dubai?

From November to March you can drive with the roof down at any time of day. Daytime highs run from the mid-twenties to the low thirties Celsius, which is ideal open-car weather.

From June to September the afternoons are above 40 °C, and a roof-down drive at midday is no fun for anyone. In summer, keep the roof up by day and lower it after sunset for the drive along Jumeirah or out to the Palm.

April, May and October sit in between, so plan your open-air driving for the morning and the evening.

What is included when you rent a McLaren from Hermas?

The daily price includes VAT and comprehensive insurance, and there is no security deposit, so nothing is blocked on your card. We deliver and collect the car free anywhere in Dubai, the airport included. You book on WhatsApp and we confirm the same day.

The mileage allowance averages 250 km a day across the rental period. That is plenty for the city, and it leaves room for one long day on the paved mountain roads to Hatta or Jebel Jais. Salik tolls and any traffic fines are billed at cost after the rental.

Tourists need a passport and a valid driving licence, plus an International Driving Permit if the licence was not issued in the UAE, the GCC, the US, Canada or the EU. UAE residents need an Emirates ID and a UAE licence. The minimum age is 21.

The rental agreement does not cover dune bashing or any driving off the asphalt.

Frequently asked questions

Which McLaren is best for a first supercar rental in Dubai?

The 570S. It is the most affordable of the three at AED 2,329 a day, the easiest to drive in traffic and the least tiring over several days. You still get the mid-engine V8, the upward-opening doors and the low McLaren shape, so it never feels like a compromise.

Can I fit luggage in a McLaren?

Some, if you pack light. The boot is under the front bonnet and takes a cabin bag and a soft holdall, not large suitcases. Soft bags fit its shape better than hard cases. All three are two-seaters, so the passenger seat is the only other space. If you arrive with big luggage, send it to your hotel and we deliver the McLaren there free.

Is the 750S Spider worth AED 180 a day more than the 720S?

Yes, if you rent between November and March or plan to drive in the evenings during summer. The folding hard top gives you open-air driving when the weather allows and a closed coupe when it does not. If you will only drive at midday in July or August, take the 720S and keep the difference.

Do I need to pay a deposit to rent a McLaren in Dubai?

No. Hermas takes no security deposit on any McLaren, for any rental length, and nothing is blocked on your card. The daily price already includes VAT and comprehensive insurance. Salik tolls and any traffic fines are billed at cost after the rental ends.
