Rent a Jetour in Dubai: Jetour T2 or Jetour G700?

From car reviews and industry updates to maintenance advice, driving tips and buying recommendations, our blog brings together everything you need to stay connected to the world of cars.

Rent a Jetour in Dubai: Jetour T2 or Jetour G700?

Rent the Jetour T2 if you want a boxy, rugged-looking SUV at the lowest Jetour price, AED 299 a day. Rent the Jetour G700 Flagship 2026 at AED 899 a day if you need six seats, a plug-in hybrid and the most equipment. The Jetour X70, at AED 349 a day, sits between them as the practical family SUV.

Jetour is the value brand in our fleet. The cars look bigger and more expensive than they are to rent, which is exactly why customers ask for them. Below we compare the three models side by side: what each one costs, who it suits, how the G700’s plug-in hybrid works day to day, and what every rental includes.

How much does it cost to rent a Jetour in Dubai?

Renting a Jetour in Dubai costs from AED 299 a day for the T2 to AED 899 a day for the G700 Flagship 2026, with VAT and comprehensive insurance included in every price.

  • Jetour T2 — AED 299 a day. The silver T2, a boxy SUV with a tough stance that looks the part on any Dubai road.
  • Jetour T2 2025 Black — AED 299 a day. The same T2 at the same price, in black, for a darker and tougher look.
  • Jetour X70 — AED 349 a day. The practical family SUV, comfortable for everyday driving and easy to live with in city traffic.
  • Jetour G700 Flagship 2026 — AED 899 a day. The new flagship, with six seats, a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and the most equipment in the Jetour range.

Longer rentals cost less per day, and we can quote a monthly rate on request.

For context, the G700 is the car for people who want a large, modern SUV with a well-equipped cabin but do not want to pay G63 or Patrol Platinum money. It carries six people for a fraction of what those two cost to rent.

Jetour T2 or Jetour G700: which one should you rent?

Rent the T2 if price and looks matter most, and the G700 if space, comfort and equipment matter more than the daily rate.

The T2 is the SUV people photograph in hotel driveways. Its square, upright body and tough stance make it look like a serious off-roader, yet it costs AED 299 a day. It suits couples, friends sharing a trip and anyone who wants the SUV look on a sensible budget.

The X70 is the practical one. It is a comfortable family SUV with a useful boot and an easy drive in city traffic, at AED 349 a day. Pick it when you want an everyday family car more than a style statement.

The G700 Flagship 2026 is the new top of the range. It has six seats, a plug-in hybrid drivetrain and the most equipment of any Jetour we rent. It suits families of up to six, business visitors who want something large and modern, and long days on the road where comfort counts.

One rule applies to all three: they look rugged, but they stay on paved roads. The rental agreement does not cover dune bashing or any driving off the asphalt. The paved mountain roads to Hatta and up Jebel Jais are fine.

How do fuel and charging work on the Jetour G700?

You do not need to charge the G700 at all: when the battery runs low, it drives as a hybrid on petrol, like any other SUV.

Charging is a bonus, not a duty. If your villa, apartment or hotel has a charger, or you park at one of the public chargers in many Dubai malls, plugging in lets the car cover short city trips mostly on electric power. That means lower fuel use and a very quiet drive in traffic.

On longer drives the petrol engine and the electric motor work together, so you never wait for a charge or plan a route around chargers.

What is included when you rent a Jetour from Hermas?

  • A mileage allowance that averages 250 km a day across the rental period.
  • Salik tolls and any traffic fines, billed at cost after the rental.
  • Tourists need a passport and a valid driving licence, plus an International Driving Permit if the licence was not issued in the UAE, GCC, US, Canada or EU.
  • UAE residents need an Emirates ID and a UAE driving licence.
  • The minimum age to rent is 21.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a deposit to rent a Jetour in Dubai?

No. You rent the Jetour T2, the X70 or the G700 with no security deposit, whatever the length of the rental, and nothing is blocked on your card. You pay the daily price, which already includes VAT and comprehensive insurance. Salik tolls and any traffic fines are billed at cost after the car comes back.

Can I drive the Jetour T2 or G700 off-road?

No. Both look ready for the desert, but the rental agreement does not cover dune bashing or driving off the asphalt, so they stay on paved roads. That still leaves plenty: the paved mountain roads to Hatta and up Jebel Jais make a good day out in either car, especially between November and March, when the days are mild.

Do I have to charge the Jetour G700 during the rental?

No. The G700 is a plug-in hybrid, so when the battery is low it runs on petrol as a hybrid and drives like any other SUV. If you have a charger at your villa or hotel, or park at a public charger, plugging in simply lets you do more of your short city trips on electric power.

Which Jetour is best for a family?

For a family of four or five with luggage, the Jetour X70 at AED 349 a day is the practical choice. If you are six, or you want the most space and equipment, take the Jetour G700 Flagship 2026 at AED 899 a day. The Jetour T2 at AED 299 a day suits couples and small groups best.
